It is not at all unusual to be listening to one talkgroup on the NSRS such as the Allied channel (05-123) and all of a sudden it goes quiet. A quick search reveals the same traffic now being heard on a different talkgroup such as 08-010 where several different talkgroups have become one. This just happened again.
Keep this in mind if you like to monitor one talkgroup for a while which has a lot of traffic and all of a sudden it is quiet. If you don't act you will miss all you want to hear.
