NHP is presently conducting speed enforcement on I-15 utilizing an airplane. Most people who monitor NHP using the NSRS are content with listening to the appropriate talk groups (LV 1, 2, 3, 4, TAC 1,2,3). However, what NHP often does is simply to communicate with one another using the 800 mutual aid frequencies, usually TAC 1 which is 866.5125. It is always a good idea to scan these frequencies when in the LV or Reno area for they do come alive with interesting traffic. Simplex mode is normally used. Happy listening.
