At the moment NHP appears to be using 155.7900 most likely near the Overton area for speed enforcement involving an NHP aircraft. The aircraft can be heard in Las Vegas.
This frequency is one of several that actually are licensed and coordinated for the NHP to use. Most NHP vehicles have both the 800 MHz M/A Comm radios and the older VHF radios in them. In Southern Nevada there is not much use of the VHF but it is still worth monitoring. Page 45 of the Southern Nevada Scanner Book has all of their VHF frequencies matched with the sites for Southern Nevada.
