nhp towers?

I am not recieving any nhp traffic on red peak.patrick,virginia pk towers from fernley to sparks and reno vicinities(I-80)---------I am getting misc. municapal/fire radio traffic on red peak in sparks/reno-(mobile)----------nhp on eagle ridge tower is perfect in fernley,--but once I travel west on I-80 at approx. painted rock or just east of I loose eagle ridge and nothing beyond to reno----------------I will be participating on this forum more frequent from this point on--(been occupied).--I need to commute around northern nevada and monitor nhp--------------if anyone can educate me what im doing wrong---feel free to respond ----------thanks-chris(nevadan) new e-mail=chris @trinityalarms.com

Chris My last trip on 80 to Salt Lake had some mixed results. However Toulon should be working (it was the last time) and so was Winnemucca and one of the sites in Elko. Everything else was intermittent.

However I am told that there will be a new NHP designation for the North-East division. If you are still receiveing TG 753 etc in Elko they have yet to make the change. Also note that some here are still picking up the NHP on the "old" 15xMhz freqs.
