To update the NHRA frequencies listed for Raceway Park in the db. These are all frequencies I heard Thursday. Frequency lists are for sale for $5.00 at the Racing Electronics trailer located in the pits on the left side of the track near the staging lanes.
NHRA 1 464.2875 226 Race Control
NHRA 2 456.3750 624
NHRA 3 457.4000 703
NHRA 14 466.4875 026 NHRA announcers

Remember Raceway Park is in Middlesex County and the NHRA frequencies are used by the NHRA only at NHRA national events.

The attached shows their temporary tower setup at the track on Friday. I was under the impression this would be for a small area repeater? Also don't forget that all the track activities are on Fox Sports on Friday, Saturday and Sunday- I'm guessing there would be alot of network TV communications as well.

I did pick up some talk on 464.500 with 179.9- one of the car crews on the starting line. I'm guessing a number of crews use UHF IT type radios? I didn't come prepared for monitoring- so I'm sure I missed alot.

Nice repeater/radio tower.. Saw some of this on FS-1 today..Notice smaller antennas on tower maybe for in car camera transmitters?
Used to be in Nascar for in car cameras they hovered a chopper over center of racetrack during race like Dover Downs
but now they installed rmini repeaters around track on crash fences to capture video assume 2.5GHZ etc so no more expensive choppers hovering anymore for in car camera feeds... Maybe Drones next? :)
