Well it all depends on the last time you were in the area.

Buffalo along with most of Erie County have gone to UHF and same with Niagara County. Although both Erie and Niagara both Simocast their UHF to the old low-band systems.

Erie County has come out with a bunch of new Interop Channels but I have never heard them being used.

I see you are in Niagara County so most everything I have said you most likely already no.

Erie and Niagara Counties

Erie County still doing alot of upgrades to UHF on the fire side. I also understand that one of the Erie County Sheriff frequencies is being given to fire for southern Erie County. Also Erie County Ops 3 is very active during airport alerts. Hope this helps. Have a great Day !

I know that 424.150 pl 151.4 is now being used by Erie County Emergency Services. I have not heard what frequencies will be given to us people in the southern part of the county. I know from the last fire board meeting that nothing will be started until Fall.
