Yesterday (2024-June-5) Niagara EMS was doing a lot of radio testing and having some issues, particularlly with patching and car to car.... And today, radio silence.

Sounds like they've cut to the new system... I don't know if they're encrypted yet on PSRN, I don't have any spare hardware suitable to test/check - but that's the rumoured destination.

They are gone. Mississauga CACC is next

Niagara EMS has indeed switched. Talk groups 20881, 20882, 20883 and 20884 (all encrypted). 20881 is busiest followed by 20882.

If its on PSRN then will be the 700 MHz (encrypted) VR's

Think just about every ambulance and OPP unit from the GTA down to Windsor has been on 700 MHz for some time now.
