I live 20 miles from the base and I listen to the Aircraft frequencies for this base, as I post there is a K35RBOEING KC-135R/T Stratotanker, in the air doing circles around the airport, they do these maneuvers all the time for practice's. Also I see them leaving the air base to go on there missions, the AR-206 Track is just outside my house and they do refueling on this track and many other tracks farther away. The question I have is do they ever do air refueling exercises at night for practice, on AR-206 track. I have never seen any night time refueling exercises on AR-206, is there a reason for this, I would think with the Niagara Falls Airbase and how close the AR-206 Track is too it they would use this track more often, Just wondering, do the not do any night time refueling exercises

I'm not sure what you consider "night" but BISON 32 is on AR206L now with DECOY 99 (2000-2040 EDT). I have seen AR206 used at night on other occasions, but doesn't seem to happen very often.

From the AP/1B Area Planning Document regarding AR206L/H. No restrictions after 0000Z.

REMARKS: Receiver aircraft contact Cleveland ARTCC for further clearance 3 minutes prior to planned exit point. Refueling prohibited between 1130-1500Z++ and between 1900-0000Z++. All tankers make left turn at exit. Require thirty (30) minutes spacing between simultaneous refueling between AR206H and AR206L at exit.

It's not very common, looking back through the archives it looks like AR206 is only used around a couple of nights per month.

OK, thanks, just thought I would check.
No problem. Any chance you are monitoring now at 12:20 EDT ? Activity on 226.900 Fort Drum Range, just wondering if you are able to hear from your location ?

Just got back home, I picked up a couple of seconds of audio, clear but a little low on the volumeon 226.900 , I'm scanning the frequencies now and will leave the scanner on all day and night and see what I can pick up. I did a video on the AR206L 235.100 frequency. I will clean the video up and post it tonight.

I think it was MD ANG A-10s. They said they would pop into Wheeler-Sack (KGTB) then be back on the range in about an hour, which would be around 1:30pm.
