If all you need is ID numbers, I can scan the system tonight (being New Year's Eve, they should be busy), and I can post my findings within the next couple of days. If you're looking for OTA-Aliases, I don't believe this system does that.

Let me know if I can help in any way, I would be more than happy to.

Okay, sounds good! After I post this reply, I will monitor the system and see what Radio IDs popup for me here at the house. Once I've compiled a list, I will post them here on the forums.

I will try to compile a list of Radio IDs based on the TG that they transmit on.

Alright... @ikas, before I went out last night to celebrate New Year's Eve, I thought my DSD+ was running... and I was wrong. So, as I am typing up this response now, it's been running since about 08:00. The system is pretty busy mainly with encrypted radio traffic.

Before I give you the radio IDs that I was able to pick up, I want to let you know that there's a few different agencies using this trunked system. I know for a fact that the Niagara Regional Police Service, Niagara Parks Police Service, a few fire departments within the region, and allegedly the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) has moved their operations to the system too.

The attached "Niagara Region Radios.txt" can be opened on any computer via Notepad, Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, etc., and it should also be mobile friendly to those who want to take a peek at it from one of those devices. In this document, you will be able to see all 155 radio IDs I picked up, at what time, and to which talkgroup.

Hope this helps!

Here's my list of Niagara Fire unit IDs and descriptions (excluding St. Catharines). There are many missing as it's a work in progress. You should be able to copy & paste these into Sentinel.

nice list, thanks... i do not listen to them very much being in the states but it is nice to have the alias to go with the radio id number. If you need anything from over here let me know

I must also advise your list is terribly out of date and inaccurate unless you have corrected the list that you supplied me

It’s a very difficult process, not to mention, it's never ending they always change and it's a full time job to track it as there are easily over 3500 of them

i am aware as I have been tracking the 8 counties of western NY for past 3 years. Just yesterday once again i added about 12 new radio id's. It is nice to have them on the scanner. My niagara county NY list has around 2000 id numbers. Do you have a more complete id list for niagara region you are willing to share?

If the system is P25P2, you may get lucky and they are using OTA. If so, this is great for logging RID/alias combinations. In Ontario, the new LMRN system is using the OTA. You may want to check some of the US services. According to my information Niagara Region is not using OTA
