Niceville PD in Okaloosa County has gone digital. They went with Hytera (models unknown) instead of Motorola for DMR. Not sure if they're going to eventually go encrypted, but it is picking up just fine with my Radioddity GD-77 in Fort Walton Beach after gathering the config with my SDR.

Can you check on FWBPD if they are correct? Niceville will have to be updated on my end case bands are open up.

FWBPD uses Motorola MotoTRBO (DMR), and the database is accurate except for 2 things:

1. Channel 1 is using slot 1. It's currently just listed as *
2. FWBPD has been using channel 2 as their main dispatch as they've had issues with channel 1.

You'll periodically hear them conduct radio checks on channel 1 around the city. I've also heard channel 1 being used at special events like parades and Construction Junction.

So you can't just program it as the digital frequency and not put the slot ect ect?
