Night time tropo NOAA Weather Radio 9/6/2020

A little bit before 11pm I tuned in to 162.550. To my surprise there was WXK47, the NOAA Weather Radio station that serves Bristol, Tennessee area, and it was making the trip over the Blue Ridge Mountains at a distance of 120 miles. I usually get WXJ22 from Florence SC on this frequency even on the backside of the yagi. I turned the yagi east and the Wilmington, NC area NWR located in Winnabow was making the trip. KHB31 is located about 160 miles distance.

I was getting Cape May PD and Sea Isle City PD after midnight all the way from Bergen County NJ!

Had NOAA channels in Warsaw, NC from home in Marykand on the HT this morning.

I use these for propagation indicators.

Picking up WNG543 162.450 Jonesboro Maine from Bergen County NJ!
Drowning out WXM60 Southard NJ!

I heard them say Jonesboro and Penobscot and was able to confirm it!

Just faded out!
