I came across a new in open box Alinco DJ-X10 on eBay last week and have been watching it since. I decided to buy it. I was originally interested in another -X11 model, but I keep selling them because the display is so hard to read in dual VFO scan mode. I've already had two in the past. The X11 is a great receiver, but my eyes aren't getting any better at my age. They are also asking stupid money for these if you can find one in the States. Stupid money from Japan too.
The X10 gets pretty good reviews, and is supposed to excell at HF below 30 Mhz. I'm more interested in air band for this receiver as I have plenty of HF coverage with my other sets, but I'll try it out on all bands and see how it does.
Nothing better that finding a vintage receiver new in box.
