Has anyone noticed the lack of NJ Forestry communications recently on the VHF system particularly in the central part of the state (B div.) Did the Forest Fire service finally witch to the state 700 mhz. system ? If they did have their been any reports relating to coverage etc?

Has anyone noticed the lack of NJ Forestry communications recently on the VHF system particularly in the central part of the state (B div.) Did the Forest Fire service finally witch to the state 700 mhz. system ? If they did have their been any reports relating to coverage etc?

It's been pretty active all summer on VHF in A1, A3, and A4 around Sussex, Warren and Morris.

Nothing has changed. VHF is still primary. Multiple rain events have kept the airwaves quiet.
