Information taken from the FCC Database:

48.64000
48.76000
48.84000
153.5300
151.5500
451.5375
456.5375
451.6875

451.6875, 451.5375, and 456.5375 appear to be low power mobile only (Power Output listed as 2) so it is very doubtful you will receive them.

Transmitter site for 153.5300 is Rockaway, Morris County so you probably won't get that unless you are in that area.

Transmitter site for 151.5500 is Barnegat. Power output for Base is 50 and mobile is 40, so you may receive that depending on your location.

The rest of them appear to be base/mobil and have transmitter sites in Barnegat, Holmdel, Tinton Falls and Toms River. Power output for Base is 100 and mobile is 50 so you should be able to receive them.

I'm not a whiz at deciphering a lot of the info off of the database, so if there are any errors here, someone can correct me.

My apologies for the double post here. I must have done something when I edited it. It would be appreciated if either Lindsay or a moderator would delete one of them. Thank you.

Where did 153.485 come from ? When I did a Licensee/State check on the 2.1.20 version of the database, it wasn't listed anywhere. I just did a Frequency Range/State check for that frequency and it comes up as 155.530.

The ULS database (http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchAdvanced.jsp) lists 153.485 under KED793.

DJ88, what is the URL for database version 2.1.20? The URLs I have bookmarked are the above plus http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/genmen/index.hts for 1.0.0 and http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports/index.cfm for 2.1.24.

If you search for license KED793 on 2.1.20, does it not include 153.485? Or does that license just not show up when you search for 153.485 in NJ? If the latter, it may be because the licensed location is a radius around a centerpoint specified as a lat/long. NJ is not explicitly mentioned, and 2.1.20 may not be smart enough to realize that 40d12'18.4"N 074d16'58.5"W is New Jersey.

I generally prefer the ULS database -- seems to have the most information and is pleasing to my eye. Its geographic search functions are smart enough to calculate lats/longs plus radii for mobile units, which may be good or bad depending on what you're searching for.

Correction: the ULS Database does say Monmouth County, NJ, just not on the location summary tab. I didn't drill down far enough to see it the first time. It also shows in 2.1.24.

Jim - It's the same version. I have it stored in my "Favorites" and it listed itself there as 2.1.20, for some odd reason. Also, my error on call sign KED793. 153.485 is listed there. I failed to realize there was more than one page and only looked at the first one.

And again, I have no idea why, when I edit a post, it's creating a double post here on the board. Whoever has the capabilities can delete one of each.

DJ88,those 2 frequencies aren't licensed for the gas company,451.9375 and 456.1375 are the correct frequencies.
Sure they are, under callsign WNPQ876 for within 5 miles of Tinton Falls.

FYI 451.9375 and 456.9375 plus all the 46* MHz frequencies on KED793, if used as licensed, are telemetry or other data.

But we're straying a bit. NJ Natural Gas has a few active licenses. The VHF channels are:
048.6400 (WNPQ876, Rockaway, Toms River, Barnegat)
048.7600 (WNPQ876, Tinton Falls)
048.8400 (WNPQ876, Holmdel , Barnegat)
151.5500 (WNGA596, Barnegat)
153.4850 (KED793, mobiles only around Monmouth Cty)
153.5300 (KED973, Rockaway)
158.1450 (KED973, mobiles only statewide)
All the UHF channels licensed appear to be for talk-around or data/telemetry (no base stations & all low-power).

Elias1988 has reported PLs for a couple of the VHF-Hi ones -- see above. Hope this helps, Eclipse3256.
