In checking the NJ State Police coverage area's this site lists the following:

Troop A: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem

Troop B: Essex, Morris, Somerset and Union

Troop C: Burlington, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean

Can someone clue me in (and update the database). Who is covering the counties missing from the above list. Bergen - Hudson - Passaic - Sussex - Warren

I'm guessing Troop B, but would like some confirmation from those in the know.

Is Ocean County really covered by both Troops A & C?

I beleive it was at one time, until Tuckerton Station was switched from an A Troop Station to a C Troop Station (3 Comm along with Red Lion).

There shouldn't be an overlap anymore. They extended the border of Troop C down to the physical border with Atlantic County on the east side of the state (not sure about the west side).

The only place where you still have an 'overlap' is on the NJTP and the GSP (ie: there are GSP units out of Pleasant Plains that run south of that station that call into Bass River, but are still within the radio coverage area of Troop C, hence the coverage for all 3 sections of both roads in that troop).
