I am using a Pro96 with Win96 software and I need help with Troop C Alpha Tags and ID's. The State Police p96 file loaded Troops A & B with different ID's but on Troop C the same ID is listed for each alpha tag. I would like to be able to program the Pro96 to listen to any calls in the local area and lockout the other ID's. Also, I would like to be able to put specific ID's on hold when I hear a call I want to follow. Any help would be appreciated. RWI

Perhaps the file has all the simucasted ID's listed. This would be easy to spot if they are alpha taged correctly. You should not have the same ID in one bank twice though, let alone all of them the same. That would be a waste. I would not use that file it thats the case. I always made my own files but mine are arc250 files, not much help to you. Not sure if you can cut and pasted between those two programs or not.

Thanks for the offer but I do not think I could do anything with the arc250 files. The NJ State Police files I am using are the ones that came with the radio. I have searches around the web for another set of p96files for the NJSP but without success. The frequencies I have are OK but I am stumped on programing the ID's properly. All I know is the ID's that came with the radio are wrong.
