Alright I know that AMTRAK has a NE Corridor Line and they use 160.9200. I'm using NJ TRANSIT and they also have a NE Corridor, but it's NOT THE SAME LINE. Anyone know the frequency for the NJT NE Corridor Line or could they defiinitely CONFIRM they use 160.9200!

Thanks

161.010 for everything from Penn to somewhere near Philly.

I thought NJT and Amtrak shared the same tracks? I was on that line once and you can see NJT trains and Amtrak. Of course the Amtrak trains are going much faster.

It is the same line, Amtrak owns it and controls (dispatches on) it. NJ Transit trains use the Amtrak NEC Metro channel, the frequency listed above. I believe the switch to 160.92 occurs on the other side of Philly; in any event certainly outside NJ.

CP Morris (Morrisville, PA) is the location where frequencies change. 161.10 is used north to New York and points north while 160.92 is used for points south. When approaching CP Morris, large signs are mounted on poles advising the engineer to change channels.

161.010 confirmed, I hear them doing radio checks on "Amtrak" right after 161.235 before leaving Bayhead on the North Jersey Coast line.
