Are these still used anywhere in the State for any reason?

Its been awhile, but I used to hear random keyups with no audio on 160.8300. Stopped listening to it awhile ago.

They're used as backup incase the NJICS system goes down. The radios used on 700Mhx are multiband either VHF and 700/800 MHz or UHF and 700/800 MHz, I think so actually have tri-band radios. AMTRAK is still on VHF so NJT PD keeps their vhf channels

Justin they use V/7/8. There are some UHF cache radios in case there is a need to get up on UTAC channels.
