Red Flag warnings again for the better part of the state. If you have a scanner and you live in Atlantic, Cape May,Cumberland county and have a scanner you want to plug in the forest service. could be a very bad situation coming together.
Not to worry, the NWS issues a "red flag warning" every time there is low humidity, only ONE weather condition that can lead to a fire hazard.
"could be a very bad situation coming together."
The key words here are "coming together", you need a number of factors dovetailing just right to create the perfect storm. A red flag is a warning, no reason to panic. When you see a flagman at a railroad crossing what do you do? (;->)

Not true at all. Red Flag Warning criteria must meet 3 out of 4 conditions. Not just one. And it varies to which part of the country you are located. Around here, winds gusting frequently over 25 mph, relative humidity under 30%, rainfall under .25" during the previous 8 or more days and the KBDI index above 300. We've met at least 3 this week and a marginal 4th.
