Sure seems like Haledon. I heard an address yesterday on TG 5247 and when I looked it up, it was in Haledon.

There was some testing on both talk groups earlier and both were encrypted.

Aberdeen FD has not gone P25 yet. I also don’t think they will based off the fact they ordered Harris radios…

With the Waterfront Commission in NJ being disbanded, NJSP established the Port Security Section which assumed the WCNYH role on July 17.

Anyone know whether NJSP PSU is taking over the WCNYH talk groups or just repurposing existing NJSP talk groups?

Using existing NJSP talkgroups, nothing getting repurposed and WCNYH will remain for the PD guys on the NY side for now.

Montclair just signed a major contract with Moto for a boat-load of subscriber radios and infrastructure hardware, mostly 7/800-primary band but all-band radios for the FD. Looks like the whole township is moving to NJICS -- Fire, DPW, Parking, etc.

That is good news. I live right on the border of Montclair and their 500MHz fire channels are weak here (I assume due to terrain).

Dunno. Just logged the activity on Pro96Com as an affiliation denial on Site 22. No voice traffic. Roseland probably wouldn’t have privileges in Monmouth County anyways for me to hear.

The TGID 4583 was entered exactly as submitted and as noted in this thread by @CastorLB

Having just listened to the archived audio of TG 4583 in BCFY Calls, it's clear that this TGID is still RWJBH Air 1, meaning it appears that two users got the TGID wrong for Roseland PD?

Let's get it sorted out and the correct TGID re-submitted.
