No National Guard ID's. Just NJSP. Received on Union County only.

3137 and 3139 are some kind of DOT talkaround. Been being used a lot for the Route 80 sinkhole work for on-site conversations.

Based on traffic it appears 4829 is being used as some sort of "Fire Hotline", connecting other NJICS user PSAP's in the area to Union County Communications via patching to 4443 UC Fire Dispatch. Mountain Valley ECC Primarily. More monitoring is needed however.
4829 not in DB is mentioned by many of us here is showing changes. Numerous consoles and towns and departments. Encryption. Will watch more closely. @RadioDitch

All Union County and MVECC RID's from what I've seen. Based on an educated suspicion, I suspect it belongs to MVECC though.

Also 5659 is definitely Rahway, TDMA but not secured.

I see the same “MVECC TG” However what I believe I see is an I/O secure TG with encryption ability for a group of towns. I also see Summit PD with a group of NJICS radios now. This group includes 2400. Something new since May 21,2025.

It's probably MVECC Law Ops or such.

Summit makes sense since they'll be going to be changing over eventually since they're dispatched by MVECC.

While looking at 4829 and Summit testing new radios, I saw an Emergency button test. This lead to system handshake or ACK. Apparently a common RID is used in this case 16777212. I see this on Site 7 and Somerset TRS Site 4. This is a quick way to reference Emergency’s. I suspect as it did in this case, may show new arrivals on a System as you can assume the programming would be checked at least once.

The 235500x ex-MONOC RID's on 5689 and 5691 are all also showing voice on Hoboken Police 2 and 5, UASI, and StateCom. Wild shot in the dark, but could these possibly be McCabe Ambulance....maybe? Or a PAPD interop?

From a reliable source inside, PD is going to be E. Still no word on FD//EMS. Will advise further.

The ball is rolling in Wanaque(Passaic County) for their transition to NJICS. My friend who is an officer and I were talking tonight at the annual St Francis Carnival; and he said they should be transitioned over by the end of the year. Do not take that for certain, just what he shared with me.

He said all services will move over, PD, Fire, EMS. Unknown how many TG’s of course, or if they will split up PD/EMS response, EMS/Fire Dispatch(and fire response), or separate everything, EMS/Fire comms completely separate. Also unknown if DPW/Water Department, or busses(also on lowband shared with Ringwood) will once again have radios(DPW have not in a few years now; they were using lowband 45.48). I don’t recall ever seeing radios on the water department trucks, even the older ones.

Going to be interesting with the terrain on 7/800 where they currently have decent coverage on UHF; and of course the biggest question, what the actual radios will be(for interops purposes).

Currently, the portables are HT1250 UHF, and the cars have CDM1250’s for UHF, and VHF(Ringwood next door, and SPEN).

I imagine multi-band APX’s if they want to maintain interops.

Let’s start listening in…
