Thanks for the update on Westfield. I wonder if this means Westfield FD or EMS will be on 4497, 4499,4501, and 4503. Since those are the only open tgs between Linden FD and Westfield.

4515 may be Westfield also. I saw one of their radios affiliate to that group

Lets see who in Westfield is using the TG. Perhaps its EMS? Need more time and further conformation before its entered into the DB

PD 1 will be dispatch & operations. PD 2 will be detectives & administrative bureaus. PD 3 will be parking enforcement operations. Switch over is tenatively scheduled for early next week.

I'd be very surprised if Fire gets rid of their UHF channel as they use it for paging their "volunteers".

Speaking of which has anyone found the use of conventional frequencies by those who have switched over in the county?

Only the County EMS/Mutual Aid conventional channels are still very active. I haven't heard any munipality conventional channels used anymore, for those towns that switched over already.

Saturday night I was monitoring Union County on my 436HP. The Linden Police were appearing both under their usual TGID but also under TGID 4281 which is listed in the database as Union County Police Operations 1. Any idea why this would have happened?

Was it regular operations or something else on 4281?

Seemed to be normal calls. Also the transmission wasn't showing up as Phase Two (PT). It was showing as P25
