NJIT Digital Simulcast

So as I am listening I notice that certain units are normal analog with MDC, but other units are a digital voice being rebroadcast as analog. This is on the main police dispatch channel. Can anyone tell me if they know what it is?

It sounds like tg 4451 on the NJICS system rebroadcasts the NJIT frequency. Check out the NJICS conversation page 108 for further clarification. Chuck.
