Awhile back there was a post regarding the NJSP Motorcyle's on the PW. The meat of the topic was their radio calls being M1 and M2, etc. I did not dispute that then and not now.
However I was told that I was wrong when I said M1 and M2 were referencing the in-car camera. If you checkout the video on the above URL from You Tube and you look at the upper right corner you will see M1 and M2 clearly displayed.
It is my guess, that M1 is the camera and M2 is the microphone. Also, not sure if NJSP purchases from this manufacturer, but Mobile Vision is a maker of these camera, hence the (M)1.
