NJSP Tuckerton

NJSP Tuckerton Barracks is moving from Eagleswood Township to Tuckerton Borough. They are taking over the old NJ National Guard building (They installed the new sign today). Anyone know if they would be building a tower there? I have always had issues with reception where I am in Tuckerton so didnt know if there was a way to tell if they would be putting a tower in via FCC application or anything.

I wouldn't expect to see a tower there, probably just some antenna's on the roof. The older barracks all had towers because they used to dispatch out of each barracks and NJSP was on low band, so you needed a high antenna to pick up the mobile units.

WIth the Port Republic site coming on the air hopefully soon, you should be able to hear that. Of course YMMV. Depends on how far you live from exit 44 on the Parkway

There are 3 sites that cover Tuckerton... Warren Grove,Toms River, Chatsworth.
