Hello Everyone,

Does anyone in the Albuquerque area happen to have a legit scan list for an SDS100 they would be willing to share? I'm a new SDS100 owner visiting Albuquerque for another week or so. I have tried several times to create a good favorites list to primarily listen to Law Enforcement and all of the different security companies (casinos, retail outlets, military, etc.) I'm open to any other things that might be interesting to listen to while I'm in the area. I understand Albuquerque PD is encrypted but I'm hoping there is plenty of other interesting things to listen to. Every time I make a list, it seems like I lose a lot of other things I had been able to hear.

I really appreciate any help!

Welcome to the RR forums. Are you using Sentinel to program? Be sure to "Read From Scanner" first before making any changes so Sentinel is aware of what is programmed into your scanner already otherwise you'll lose what you have programmed. So "Read from scanner", then add whatever you wish to your favorites list(s), finally "Write to scanner" to upload the changes

Yes, I am using Sentinel, I have read from scanner and also done fresh DB installs. My reasoning behind the fresh installs of the DB's is I feel like my next one is going to be the good one but I kept screwing it up 🤷.

Last night I did another fresh install and may have discovered my problem. I was just adding certain talk groups to my favorite and not adding the entire system. This last time, I added the entire talk group and then deleted what I wasn't interested in. Currently, my scanning consists of Sandoval, Bernalillo County and NM State Police. I also have City Security and Coronado Mall Security. I feel like I'm missing quite a bit of agencies, primarily, because I'm not familiar with the area. Just with what I have programmed there is a fair amount of activity. Tis a shame so many agencies are encrypted. My local area in Texas, police traffic is almost silent.
Thank you for the advice!
