NMO Mag-Mount

I was wondering if anybody has anything good or bad to say about Mag-Mounts that have a NMO mount. Are they good for 800 MHz I plan on getting this.http://shop.waltel.com/cgi-bin/stor...&product=Mobile_Antennas__800&pid=154

I was looking at the 800 mobile antenna and one of the NMO mags. Are these gonna do the trick?

I have always had good luck, but I used Motola brand low-loss cable Mag Mounts.

I coldn't find any NMO mag-mounts on that site. The mobile package seems nice, but I don't want to drill if I don't have to. I would love to know where to get a low loss cable mag mount. I don't think the run is gonna be that long (less then 2 feet), so am I gonna really have that much loss with the RG58 that comes with the model I was looking at.

I have chrome NMO mag mounts with 12' of UltraLink coax with a PL259, but I can sub in any connector. UltraLink is 4.2dB/100ft at 100MHz, 8.6dB.100ft at 400MHz, and 14dB/100ft at 900MHz. The price is $31.25 plus shipping, which should run about $6.22. I don't have them on the webstore, but I do have them. PM, email, or call to order.

That BNCantenna site is a disaster. Even if their product lines were good, I wouldn't trust giving my money to an online company who can't even make their website make sense. I've seen 5yr old's make better websites that that with Microsoft Word.
