Just got back from a trip to Tucson, going thru Las Cruces both ways. (I-10). Noticed no traffic on the NMSP VHF channel, and no VHF antennas on any patrol car, only 700/800 Mhz antennas. So, since RR and FCC DB show no frequencies, anyone have any info? Thanks.

Low profiles are also used on the vhf side on newer vehicles now rolling out. They are doing away with long whips for most part regardless of using 700 or vhf.

Southcomm is running on Vhf and 700 depending on where and who. Vhf still dominant in d8 for time being.
