NO AFS in Freescan.

Here goes another beginner question. I cannot get my talkgroups to import in AFS format. I have the system set up for EDAC's N/W, click the AFS button on system format, and they come up in decimal format. I must be doing something wrong, anyone have a clue?

The AFS/DEC selection allows you to specify the TGID format prior to uploading. For example, if you have downloaded from RR they will be in dec format. If you got them from another source and they are in AFS format, you would then click on this button to assure it gets uploaded in the proper format.

If they are already in decimal format, clicking on it won't change them to AFS and vice versa. But if you really want AFS format, you can upload the system to the scanner, change it to AFS, and then redownload. But functionally of the two are the same.

Ok, Thank you, that clears it up. Funny it doesn't present that way, but it's still a great piece of software.
