No. Scanner would be receiving everything fine, and then only digital channels would decode. The scanner would stop on the analog channels, but no audio. After a power cycle, analog channels are heard again. Possibly needs to go to the shop.
Before you send it in for repair, try using the Clear User Data (on the drop-down Scanner menu in Sentinel. Once you use that, you'll need to send your profile & Favorites lists data to the scanner.
If that still does not cure the problem, either try a new card, or format the existing card using the
SD Formatter. Note that, once you format the card, you'll need to use the 'Clear User Data' to set up the freshly formatted (or a new card) up, then reload your Favorites and Profile.
While its not
always at fault, these memory cards are often the cause of problems, for both Uniden & Whistler database scanners. Formatting & reloading the current card costs only a few minutes time. A new card, which can be purchased for a low cost, is a useful 'spare' to have on hand.
