SDS100/SDS200: No confirmation from repair facility

My scanner that I sent in for repair has been sitting at the uniden repair facility for over a week, and I have gotten no confirmation that the repair facility has received my $650 sds 100. The only confirmation that I have gotten is on the fedex tracking page where the scanner has been signed by “ELEE” And attempting to check the status of the repair with my phone number and zip code brings up an error code. Uniden support has been zero help. I’m looking for guidance on what to do in this situation. I am very worried that the scanner is lost somewhere at the facility.

Nothing you can do. Several folks have said they have been told the online repair status system is not working

This is the 4th of July weekend, yes? Might be a bit of a backlog going on.

Some repairs are taking up to 30 days the best hint is to setup a MY FEDEX account and get a email that you have a package coming.

I agree! In addition USPS, UPS also have this feature and you can receive text message the moment your package has a label created, awaiting shipping partner, then as it moves through the system. I'm not sure about DHL or how many shippers use them, but check their web site too..

I sent my 325P2 in for a repair back in March. For several days I tried to get an update from the Repair Status website. If finally showed an update from my last repair, which was about four years back for a 536HP.

I called Customer Support and was surprised when someone actually answered. They confirmed that my repair was done and getting ready to ship. The CS rep also told me that they had stopped using the website for status updates a few years ago. He had no idea if they were going to build a new one or not.
