Hello. Lately I’ve been noticing DSD plus doesn’t record transmissions anymore into folder vcrecord. And VC doesn’t pickup audio anymore. Seems like it all happens in CC Did something change ?

You have to set it to record.
In the VC event window, click: output>per call recording [ mp3 | wav ] > Add [ talkgroup | radio ].

You can choose either mp3 or wav. I use mp3 for no reason. I do believe wav is a better file in terms of sound quality
You can add talkgroup and / or radio. < you can choose both or one. I only add talkgroup because I don't care about radio ID in my rec title.

As for not getting any voice, it's possible you have a glitched events file. I would suggest opening them and deleting all there contents.

Ok. I’ve never had to add talk groups or radios. It recorded everything. I didn’t change anything. I updated only.
Yes I am running Cc/Vc mode. Always have. Is there better ways to do it ? I only monitor afrrcs.

I wrote "Sounds like you're running the "CC" side in combined CC/VC mode."

And you replied "Yes I am running Cc/Vc mode."

I asked if you're running a single instance of DSD+, but your reply is ambiguous and earlier you wrote "folder vcrecord", which implies separate CC and VC copies of DSD+.

How many dongles and how many copies of DSD+ are you using to monitor AFRRCS?

Ok. How do I check for mode ? I e also noticed the CC channel activity doesn’t show the four frequencies for the site I’m monitoring. I’m gonna try and put in some screen shots.

CC Event and VC event can be on no source audio if your tuning into a P25 network, otherwise you'll get raw CC audio through your speakers

OP, can you post more screenshots of all your option menus on the CC side? There's nothing blaringly obvious for me

DO you have "Hunt for lost Control Channel" turned on? It should help fix issues like that

So you had CC FMP24 just blindly tuning to what you expected to always be the CC? Or you just kept manually tuning to that channel?

Sounds like you're not using the DSD+ startup options (or the site loader file) to automatically find the AFRRCS control channel.

Yes. The same control channel since it started. It never changed. Just typed in the frequency into the fmp24CC file.

No I’m probably not. I set it up pretty simple from watching YouTube.
