No Signal on 1065 meter

I used arc500 to program my new ws1065 and it works great except for one thing. The signal strength meter doesn't show anything even though I live about 2-3 miles, as the crow flies, from the transmitter site of the city/county in which I live. Even the surrounding counties come in great, yet the signal strength meter shows nothing. Just the S is lit up but no bars. Any ideas anyone? Maybe even a few tips n it's operation.

The signal strength meter doesn't show anything

You need to change the RSSI values for the bars on the meter. See this thread:

Just got a WS1065 from the scratch and dent program. Programmed it via arc500. When ever it stops on a channel I hear the channel fire but the display isn't showing the RSSI at all. I did a factory reset and when I did that it showed it but its not showing it when stuff is programed. I checked...

Been there and done that, but I had to go find the thread with the settings since I don't have my WS1065 anymore.

make sure the attenuater is turned off.

The new 2022 ARC500 version v2.2 now loads the Whistler s-meter settings by default.
