Hello, I have had the home patrol 2 for over a year now and all the sudden it is not picking anything up. I have zero signal bars. My antenna is 30 ft up in the air. I hooked it up to another scanner and it worked. But it does not work with the home patrol 2 Not even the standard antenna that came with at works. I've even brought it outside and it cannot pick up any frequencies nor the NOAA weather radio. Any help would be very much appreciated

Have you had any lightning in your vicinity?
Did you key up a transmitter close to that antenna?

Unless your issue is the physical solder connection of the antenna port to the board itself, it sounds like the front end of the radio is shot and a trip to Uniden for flat rate repair is needed.

I do have a ham radio set up right next to it and I have transmitted on the radio and there is a t connection so it is using one antenna

If you have both the HP-2 and a ham radio transceiver connected to the same antenna using a T connector and you've keyed up the transmitter, you have probably damaged the HP-2.
ok thank you for the help. Hopefully Uniden will be able to fix it
