no UHF on my BCT15

The other day my scanner stopped picking up UHF. just out of the blue. I can still get 800mhz trunked and VHF. If I talk on my UHF spectra on direct it can pick that up. If i'm in a town that is UHF and lock on to them I get nothing, the spectra still picks it up. anyone have a clue what might have happened?

If you have all your data backed up, try doing a full reset on the radio, back to factory defaults. Then re-load your data.

Logic suggests several possibilites; antenna damage, a key hit in error, locking out something, migration away from UHF (unlikely but possible). You didn't say anything about where you are, what towns you are scanning, etc.

A little more information is in order. Perhaps dumping out your programming and posting it might turn something up. 73 Mike

i'm in norfolk county in Mass. I've talked with uniden and they are going to take it in for a repair. One of my ham friends said I might have over loaded the UHF filter.
