noise on online player help please

Hi all i`m very new to this site and was woundering why there is a lound humming noise most of the time on this channel i listen too.It works fine most of the time but why is this thanks.

My guess would be that the provider is picking up interferance from his computer or other electronic equipment in the area of his cables. This produces the humm/buzz/crackle that can be heard. Nothing you can do, but maybe let the feed provider know that they are getting interference and maybe they can move the cables or something. Some feed providers just dont care. Hope that helps

It could be that the transmitter is out of alignment and the CTCSS deviation is set too high. The humming you describe is probably the CTCSS tone.
