Noise Spikes When Going From One FL To The Next, etc. ?

With all you folks help, have finally gotten my SDS 200 to work the way I want it.
Really happy, and thanks again.

Not sure if this is "normal", so thought I'd ask.

Everything works fine, but when the unit is switching from one FL to another (irrespective of the SQ setting)
there are 2 very sharp and loud "noise spikes". Every time. Between every FL.

Also, whenever I do switching via the Func Knob.

Why ? Common "problem" ?

Any way of eliminating them, or just something you have to live with ?

I don't think this is common at all.
I'm not sure what would cause it, but it shouldn't be doing that IMO.

Maybe the 100ms audio off time off might help? Go to "MENU"...press "squelch" button in to get to MENU. Scroll till you get to "SETTINGS"....then press "E"(yes)....scroll to bottom to "Set Audio Off Time" press "E(yes)....Should be 1st choice in that sub menu.....look for "100ms".
Thats what my radio is set for.....cuts out noise at end of squelch tail.....well, 100ms worth but worth a shot.
