Noob .. Help Please

Did a search nothing found ... sorry if this is answered somewhere.

New Baofeng UV-5RE

trying to enter the local airport freq of 125.6000 however get as far as 125.60 then exits back to NOAA.

I am in freq mode and before had done a full reset.

Frequency Range: 136-174 / 400-480MHz.

And it doesn't do AM anyways.
