NooElec NESDR Smart v4

So I've been trying to set up the NooElec NESDR Smart v4 for the past week and have had no sucess. I tried using SDR#, and CubicSDR. I can recive FM using CubicSDR not NFM.

Did you use Zadig to update the drivers?

Ok. I don't use SDR#, but did you verify your gain settings?

I cant select the SDR as the source.

What would I want the gain the be set at

You rise the gain slowly and watch the spectrum. All signals will rise but at some point you suddenly see a lot of other signals popping up from nowhere. That's when the gain are too much and the receiver overloads. So back off the gain to a level where this doesn't happen. It could react differently at different frequency bands, and are also dependent of how well your antenna work at different frequency bands.

Could that be why I'm not picking up conventional channels above 102.3 Mhz
