NooElec R820T2 & CubicSDR

I recently got NooElec R820T2 and have installed CubicSDR software. Is there a way to set CubicSDR to automatically scan certain span of frequencies like from 110 to 800 Mhz instead of just going manually?

I'm using small antenna I got with it but could I connect it to the outside TV fish-bone antenna and what cable would I need?

CubicSdr (and most others) dont "scan"
there is/was a plugin for SDR# that ran off a list
i have run rtl_power on a big chunks of spectrum to see where the activity is
