There seems to be a on and off patch with NOPD dist 8 disp, and local / state interop 4, however it keeps going up and down really randomly. Anyne know what's going on?

8th District covers the French Quater. With LSP, LANG, DEA, HSI, and CBP working in that area, they establish a patch so they can all communicate with NOPD being all radios on LWIN have the state interop talk groups, but most do not all have NOPD's talk groups. NOPD talk groups are encrypted so when joint operations are not needed, they drop the patch. But with the recently created 16 statewide law enforcement encrypted talk groups, once all radios get updated, they will start using those for all joint agency operations.
is NOPD AES or ADP? The were not encrypted when I was there last. Will the statewide be aes as well? I would like to update the encryption form. I see NOEMS is encrypted as well are they aes?
All NOPD talkgroups are now fully encrypted, they have been for a couple years now. They use a mix of both ADP and AES. The new 16 statewide law enforcement talk groups are also both ADP and AES.

Thank you so I’m guessing the DISPATCH channels are ADP and special ops are AES.
