NORAD exercise (ATTN: US/Can. Border)

Channel 7 news in Detroit and the Detroit Free Press said that there would be a joint US and Canadian military drill with NORAD aircraft between Detroit and Ottawa today. They mentioned that aircraft would be flying at low altitudes near Detroit. Has anyone heard any chatter on the scanner or seen any fighters?

I live on the river across from belle isle and didn't hear a single thing today outside. Just one small jet go overhead, but nothing that sounded special. I live on the top of a apartment too. Nothing, listened to our airport in windsor all day too and nothing. I did hear them say a Blackhawk was doing a touch and go at the airport though.

I was working those days...

so I wasn't listening but, I hear them a lot on VHF AM mode and more interesting stuff than you ever hear on UHF. I live in London ont. and I hear them all the way up to Bay City and I think it is called Steel Head.

The weird thing is that Selfridge was really quiet that day. I wonder if they had anything to do with the exercise.
