MOLSNO1 circling over Toronto/Brampton/Peel as we speak
KC-135 out of Bangor Maine

Vimy11 Formation of 4...assuming CF18's and F-16's out of Ohio on 128.8 passed off to 132.575 11:20 am

234.7 & 257.4 were air to air, Toronto Center 344.3 for transit in and out of the temporary MOA.

Amazing passes over 33L at YYZ, they maintained runway heading...first pass was all 4, second pass over was just the 2 hornets. Shook the hell out of Brampton.... :)

Tower said...no lower then 50 Feet...gotta love it!

I can confirm on departure these Hornets went direclyt back to Bagotville.

This raises a question, can any one confirm if CFB Trenton still has a few Alert Ready Hornets? I know after 9/11 they were stationed there.

Curiousity for someone newer to scanning - how do you generally find these frequencies as this is happening? Especially somewhere as busy as the Toronto region.

By searching the VHF air band and the UHF MilAir Band.

We were also lucky in the fact that we were given a heads up on this training so we were able to prepare ahead of time.

Curiousity for someone newer to scanning - how do you generally find these frequencies as this is happening? Especially somewhere as busy as the Toronto region.
