Norfolk P25 new system

anybody know why certain NFR rigs are moving to different stations, yesterday Ladder 8 was at #13, today Rescue 2 was somewhere other than #14

they had an on duty death funeral yesterday

Saturday was the funeral for the firefighter. So they moved apparatus around so the station 13 crew could be at the funeral (that was his station). Virginia Beach also filled in one of the stations. Sunday they transported/escorted the body to the crematorium...NPD ran the escort, and the body was carried on Engine 13, along with BC2, ladder 13 and Utility 13 in the procession. Went from Norfolk to Rosemont Rd in Va Beach.

The latest Im hearing is sometime in June for the switch to digital. Time will tell...
