Norman "upgrade" to new system

Based on what I've read on the forums and elsewhere, I take it that Norman will be moving to a ProVoice setup with the new funding -- true? Any ideas as to when it'll be up and running?

Of course my Pro-97 will make a pretty boat anchor once ProVoice really starts to kick in.

We hope not! If they are joining the state system (as it is now), it will be motorola - they do not have ProVoice. They could be APCO-25 (doubtful), which can be tracked with a digital scanner (not the PRO-97 though). I would imagine they stay analog and Moto trunked (just on a different system).

My understanding right now is that Norman is merely upgrading their existing Motorola system and may possibly merge it (in part?) with the state system.
