Did North Bergen New Jersey go encrypted for their police department? I’m looking for the TG talk group for their police department.
Did they go encrypted?
Do they go encrypted for the police department?

You asked three times, in this thread, three times told no by three different people, I'd bet that is pretty good confirmation they did not go encrypted. Perhaps you should check your programming or use a wildcard/id search in your scanner if you can't find them.

Just in case everyone is not seeing this on their particular device/browser, below is the footnote that appears on all posts of the original poster:

"I am using bc436hp
Please be patient with me, I have difficulties understanding, and writing what I need to say about a topic or if I ask for help. Please keep all response simple. Thank You..."

No TG, they're still 800MHz according to the DB.

Strangely reception isn't good on both of my WS1040 or Pro-18, maybe it's the receiving antenna, but it's amazing after programming that frequency on my Motorola XPR6580. I'm looking for adding like NYPD, FDNY, and any interesting ideas for receiving? 73 de N2OBS

I programmed the North Bergen NJ Police Department in my digital scanner but reception was spotty at best. But, being curious programmed a Motorola XPR6580, a 800 Mhz transceiver, and disabled for RX only reception was excellent. Of course, doing this limited until I can improve my analog/digital scanner reception. I use a 800 Mhz "tuned" antenna for my scanner instead of it's stock antenna. The antenna on my Motorola is a stock antenna.

I am in Newark, NJ. At one point I had North Bergen programmed into both my digital and analog scanners and could barely pick them up. I programmed them into one of my 800Mhz portables for receive only and got them 5x5 with no issues. I have the same problem with East Orange Police. They are practically down the street from me and I can't pick them up what so ever...
