Hey y'all,
My dad / My previous chief of department we were part of in NJ moved to North Haverhill NH and got the ok from his current chief to have a personal radio for himself . Well as you see as my signature I was one of the guys that programed the radios at my past department and I am not familiar with the Grafton/North Haverhill area. I see on the RRDB a dispatch and 3-4 fg channels. My question does anyone know the proper channel names pl's are any of them reapeated and any other local frequencies I should program for him? They said he needs to find a radio to clone and that's not an option since he has a xts5000 and no one else is really running them or is able to clone them. Any info is much appreciated to get the proper programming for him he has pretty much been told his MDC identifier he is on his own to get programmed. If you would like to email info instead of posting on a public forum just let me know.
Thanks

I would find out first, who the radio shop is who currently handles the department and explain to them he has the XTS5K
they likely can Print or PDF from one of the existing Code Plugs for you - they may even have the codeplug ready for an XTS as well as APX

Or even ask for an official copy of the ICS-205, this should list what NEEDS to be in the zones, then beyond that you can add/value enhance.

I'm sure the local shop must have something, or even the Agency must have created something for the Department to base the radios on.

As a tourist only to 603, maybe a call to Dispatch might help. isn't North Haverhill thru Twin State aka Grafton County Sheriff ?
Last I knew, all of Twin State is simplex - even the primary Dispatch channel

Yes they are simplex for dispatch and fg but I am looking for some one with local knowledge of private channels etc I am trying to set up his radio as the rest of the guys on his department I know how to use the database and scan new england but that does not cover everything. That is why I'm reaching out to see if some one has local knowledge of Haverhill

For something LIFE-SAFETY you need to talk to the Radio Shop that handles the Department, not the members and not a HOBBY forum

The hobby forum is fine for Scanners,. but not for a two-way radio on someones elses FCC License

If you are a North Haverhill a Haverhill fire department they go through twin state for dispatch out of the courthouse on route 10. It’s pretty much all VHF. They had some UHF links but haven’t been using them. The radio shop they usually go through is Ossipee Mountain electronics. Can you send me a private message let me know what you want to hear what tones
