Hey friends, I just moved to NRH from Haslet and think there should be much more activity here. That said, I think a lot of it is encrypted, yes? If there’s anyone around this area I’d be interested in knowing if NRH PD is encrypted, as well as NRH Fire. Tarrant Co sheriff might be interesting too.

I had an SDS100 for a while but sold it - moar that I wanted to listen to was encrypted, I’m afraid it’s the same in NRH but hoping someone can guide me.

I’d be interested in knowing if NRH PD is encrypted, as well as NRH Fire.
The database will tell you whether they are encrypted.

Check the MODE Column.

E means Encrypted.

e means part time encryption

Ahh, thank you - very appreciated. Is it naive to think it'll stay unencrypted at this point, or is that a private, in the know question/answer within the department(s)?
