These may be off the air now.
Somebody near each one that can receive them all the time needs to check for activity or home channel data bursts every ~10 seconds.

I've been surveying them as I do "road trips" with the mobile rig. SDRTrunk can monitor them and look for the "idle" messages that should be on each channel - no "idle" messages (or obvious signs that they're gone) and I submit to remove them from RRDB (I did a huge amount a few years back, not as many in recent years).

I know I've done a couple of road trips out near Decatur and Bowie before but can't remember if I did the "survey" of LTR systems I typically do. With the new job I don't get as many opportunities that I used to (not enough vacation days yet) but I will certainly keep that area on my radar when I do get a day for a road trip.

I think the two in Montague County are still on the air but not 100% sure.
Those are still on the air with active talkgroups.

Last night and this morning conditions were good.
Self Radio UHF LTR in Decatur might still be there.
The license in the db is expired. Probably should be FCC Callsign WQJP540 (Self Radio Inc). I heard weak analog on 461.600, 461.350 and 464.025 but too weak to decode to tell if it was LTR. 461.050 is part of their NXDN system now.

Self Radio and Mobile Phone of Texas LTRs here in Wichita Falls are still on the air but now there are only 2 active users that I can tell. All the other sites in post #1 I think are dead. I got weak LTR idle bursts on 454.125 but not sure where it was coming from.

I think Self Radio is gradually moving from LTR to NEXEDGE
I haven't paid attention to that system until recently. They have licenses with NXDN narrow emission designators in Boyd, Richland Hills, Midlothian, Kaufman, Corsicana that aren't in the database. Also here in Wichita falls that I know is not on the air. There is a site 19 that isn't in the database. It is a neighbor of Crowley but I haven't been able to find it. They just modified one of the licenses for Graham to include NXDN narrow and DMR. ULS Application - Industrial/Business Pool - Commercial, Conventional - 0011552551 - Self Radio, Inc. - Frequency Summary.
