Down in WW for a little “can’t leave the state vaca” and listening to the locals and hear a very strange signaling at the end of North wildwood PD transmissions, almost sounds like old GE lol.

I have heard that down there for years. Not sure what equipment they are using, but according to that list, it sounds like DTMF.

After reading wa3bxw comment and going back and forth between the sound webpage and listening to their traffic I’m pretty sure it’s kenwood fleet sync also, I did see a west Wildwood ofc and his radio def was not a motorola and I believe north wildwood dispatches them also

N. Wildwood uses Kenwood equipment Portables and mobile, The older equipment utilized DTMF for I.D. the newer radios use FleetSync which is Kenwood's signalling format similar to Motorola's MDC format. Their Zetron consoles are set up to handle the FleetSync format, works fine!
